Zoom Account Policy

Cal Lutheran uses Microsoft Teams as the primary platform for communication and collaboration. Zoom accounts are no longer provided to individual staff members by default.

Current Policy

  • Individual Zoom Accounts:
    Staff who do not need to host video conferences with students may use the free Zoom account, which includes a 40-minute meeting limit.
  • Student-Facing Video Conferences:
    If your role requires hosting Zoom meetings with students (e.g., advising, counseling, or other student-facing services), you may request an exemption or a departmental Zoom account.
