Help Desk Holiday Hours

While another year is coming to a close, there are some final technical housekeeping matters for ITS staff to take care of to ensure the reliability and security of Cal Lutheran’s systems. Following are system maintenance windows during the break, being mindful of the availability of critical campus services such as Payroll, Fall grade postings and year-end online giving and gift processing:

  • Sunday, December 20 – midnight to 3AM – brief interruption to various services (server consolidation project)
  • Sunday, December 27 – midnight to 3AM - brief interruption to various services (server consolidation project)
  • Friday, January 1, 2016 – midnight – Sunset of CLUnet.edu email (automated)

Cal Lutheran Help Desk hours for the holidays:

  • Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20 – Closed
  • Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23 – 8AM to 5PM
  • Thursday, December 24 through Sunday, January 3 - Closed
  • Help Desk operations will resume at 8:15 AM on January 4, 2015. Emails and phone calls to the Help Desk will be monitored on a daily basis during the break. System-wide problems will be addressed by our on-call personnel, while Help Desk requests impacting individual accounts or workstations will be logged, prioritized and addressed on January 4th.
